meet our team
ANDREW ARCIDIACONOCEOHello, my name is Andrew. I am a senior and this is my fourth year on the team. This year, I am the CEO of the team. My favorite part about robotics is having the countless hours of hard work pay off when the robot finally starts working.

rakata raynoeCooHey, I’m RJ, this is my 3rd and last year on the Robotics team. I’m currently COO and Business and Outreach Director. I’ll do my best for the team, and I’ll do my best for the students who succeed me. My advice for anyone in Robotics: start with what’s fun and interesting. There’s a key difference between stepping out of your comfort zone and doing something you hate.

yolanda liubuild directorHi, this is Yolanda. I am a senior and this is my 3rd year on team 2827. I’m Build Director of the team, leading my teammates to construct a fully functioning robot for the competition. Robotics means a lot to me, especially when I get to work with people from multiple grades and sometimes outside helpers. I can always learn something new through this experience, and I’m absolutely loving it.

charlie mariobuilderHi, I’m Charlie! I’m a Junior and this is my third year in Robotics. This year, I get to be a Junior manager with a focus on building. I hop around from group to group to see what the Juniors are working on, and help out wherever I can. There’s nothing I love more in robotics than the team dynamic. Robotics is full of challenges and setbacks, but as long as there’s passion for what we do, and trust in each other, work gets done and every day in the lab feels like summer break.

eli jaredDESIGN DIRECTORHi! I’m Eli Jared, and I am currently a junior at Trinity. This is my first year on the robotics team, and as the director of design, my favorite part of robotics is seeing how the variety of unique ideas and solutions used to create the components of the robot all come together. Although COVID-19 has presented our team this year with a new and unique set of challenges, our team has bonded together and worked to overcome each obstacle at every step of the way.

Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a Junior at Trinity, and this is my first year in robotics. On the team, I work with mechanical and electrical design. You can often find me managing a 3D printer or laser cutter job, or working on assembling finished parts for the robot. Sometimes I’ll also help make CAD designs with the design team or just help brainstorm. My favorite part of robotics is the aspect of teamwork. The lab itself shows this aspect very well. I have rarely been able to find another place in the school where people work together so closely or efficiently to reach a common goal, even with the challenge of COVID-19.

jeff fu
code directorHi, My name is Jeff, I am a Junior, this is my first official year on the Robotics team. I am the coding director of the team. I am a very theoretical person, I don’t like to do work and practice in the lab, because they often get messy and out of my control. Engineering kind of pulls me back to reality. Robotics is a place where teamwork and ideas come together. I can work with people, schedule our own pace of time. Although COVID kind of dragged us back in late, It has been a wonderful experience being on the team and working with my friends and teacher.

bernardo albuquerque
programmerHello, My name is Bernardo. I am a Junior and this is my first year on the trinity robotics team. My role this year is programming but I also like to help my teammates with building designs. My favorite part about robotics is to understand things that seemed impossible at first. There is no such feeling as when a persisting problem gets solved.

alice wang
designerHello, my name is Alice. I am a sophomore and this is my first year on the trinity robotics team. My roles this year are assisting building the robot and working for the website for outreach. My favorite part of robotics is planning what the website will be and working with my team members.

DANIEL arcidiaconobuilderHi, I’m Daniel. I’m a sophomore at Trinity and this is my first year doing robotics. This year I will be a builder while also helping design the robot. My favorite part of robotics is hanging out with my friends while we work on building a cool robot.
|
Tim celesteDesignerMy name is Tim, and this is my 2nd year of Robotics. Due to COVID-19, and the fact that I am taking distance learning, I can’t physically attend meetings. But, that does not mean I can‘t help plan out how we design the robot, especially the priorities in the designing process. As such, I have become a designer of the robot, sharing any ideas that I have with the team.

tarey gettysdesignerHi! My name is Tarey and I’m in 10th grade at Trinity School. My role is to design parts of the robot and to help with the business and communications side of this team. My favorite part of robotics is working on a large project in a lot of separate pieces and seeing it all come together at once.
