Renato Laucas De Campos
Upper School STEM Teacher
I joined Trinity Robotics in 2019, and this is my 6th FTC season; I previously coached team OX Robotics at Oxbridge Academy (Florida). The FTC program is an outstanding opportunity to elevate STEM education to a professional level that will impact my students' engineering skills and character. I am passionate about creating projects using a CNC router machine, laser cutter, and 3D printers to improve my students' ability to design and build custom parts and pretty much anything their imagination will take them. In our robotics lab, we strive for gracious professionalism with the framework of Christian faith and conviction. I am honored to serve a highly dedicated group of students, and I look forward to a fantastic season.

Parent volunteer and Saturday Coach
In 2014 I first volunteered to help supervise and support the Trinity Robotics team for Saturday practices. This is my 8th season as a volunteer, and I am excited to have my 3rd child joining the team this year (just as his brother and sister did before him). I have the joy and privilege of working in science every day at work, but consider it a far greater privilege to work with the extraordinary students on the Trinity Robotics team. Their creativity, enthusiasm and creativity are deeply inspiring and encouraging to me, and I consider it a tremendous honor to come alongside them in their robotics experience (and even bring donuts). |
