COVID Changes

Picture
2020 has been an unusual year to say the least. But, we worked heavily with our school to ensure safety comes first.

We faced loads of communication challenges but finally we have in-person practice thanks to a rigorous testing and monitoring system on behalf of our school’s well trained Nerve Center.

We are thankful for what opportunities we have and are excited to see what we can do.

What is first?

“To transform our culture by creating a world where science and technology are celebrated and where young people dream of becoming science and technology leaders.” – Dean Kamen, Founder of FIRST
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 by inventor Dean Kamen and Woodie Flower in order to make a ways to inspire students in STEM fields.

FIRST expresses their philosophy through Coopertition and Gracious Professionalism. We challenge ourselves to incorporate our school's philosophy and motto along side FIRST's.

“TRUTH, GOODNESS,

AND
BEAUTY”

. . . Is Trinity School's motto. We reflect
that through our team with authentic
character, competitive yet mutual gain, and
a joy for STEM.
We are a veteran team with lots of history, but each new year is a new chance to learn.

We started in 2008 as team 2827 Artificial Stupidity and then formed 2 more sister teams, 3587 Unparalleled Processing and 5459 Syntax Error. Since then we have returned to 1 team, but our goal remains the same.

To succeed, we organize ourselves to utilize our strengths and support our weaknesses. We set our own deadlines and manage our time wisely to reach them.
Our builders take a hands on approach on prototyping while learning computer-aided design programs. Simultaneously our coders are able to work with Java programming to assist drivers or even automatically maneuver without drivers.
And our Outreach and Business Branch works on expanding and sharing the joy of STEM to others.
