Team Captain

I am the captain of 2827 this year. I like robotics because of the creativity used to solve problems. As captain, I organize the team and make sure the team works together well. Outside of robotics, I enjoy hanging out with friends.

I like robots a lot. When I get to build them it makes me happy. I like my friends a lot too because they make me want to learn. I really love this team. In my free time I play mario kart with my older brother. He is really good. One time I won and he said that I was getting better and it made me happy.

As an engineer on 2827, I primarily focus on conceptualizing, designing, and building the robot. Being involved in all parts of this process means that I am able to witness and influence the entire creation procedure. This is my second year in Trinity Robotics, and I am excited to apply what I learned as a member of the outreach and build team last year to this new season.

Engineer and Outreach

This is my first year on the Trinity Robotics team but I was part of Saturday practices the season before. But I am very excited to be officially part of the team. This season, I am spending the majority of my time on outreach but also I am part of the engineering design team. As a part of the team, I’ll be working on building the portfolio and designing the robot.

Engineering Director

I am the director of Engineering and Design this year, and help with Outreach when needed. I strive to learn and grow as the season progresses. I also hope to help lead our team to success! Outside of the lab I enjoy sports -- like tennis and soccer-- and art. I am also a Co-Chair of Student Life this year. I plan events and activities for the student body to enjoy.

This is my second year on the Trinity Robotics team, and I am so excited to be back! Last year I focused on the coding aspect of FTC, but I wanted to expand my knowledge and join the engineering and design process. This season, I get to help brainstorm, design, and build the robots for this year's competition and help us to be the best we can be.

I’m still new to the whole process of Robotics, but so far, I love it.. The engineering and design team I work with adds a very lively energy to the room, especially when brainstorming new ideas. I really enjoy this class because of that reason, the sense of collaboration while working with peers is exhilarating!

Code

This is my first year on the Trinity Robotics team. I have always been very interested in coding, software development, and robots, and am happy to be on the code team this year. It asks for a lot of collaboration but is very fun working together with the team. I’m excited to see what we can do this year!

Outreach Director

Trinity Robotics team creates awesome opportunities for me and my teammates to work with each other for the FTC competition. Outreach serves to connect robotics and the community. My job, as the director of outreach, is to get people to know our fascinating robotics program, FTC competition, and our great robotics team.

I am a rookie to the team and am excited to learn all that the robotics program has to offer. I have done a little bit of engineering in the past with little CAD projects – mostly useful parts for my room. I’m excited to tackle POWERPLAY and design a killer robot!

I came to Trinity my freshman year of high school and from there took engineering design 1 and 2 on my way here, and it opened my interests to Robotics. The thought of designing and building a robot with friends sounded incredibly fun, and it also expanded on my own interests towards technology as a whole. While this is only my first year of Trinity Robotics I can already tell that this season is going to be amazing!
